Job summary

Careem is seeking a senior Oracle ERP expert to join from Pakistan, focusing on Finance and Supply Chain modules. You will design and configure ERP solutions, resolve complex issues, and translate business needs into scalable processes across multi-market environments.

You will own data migration, reporting, and release readiness, while partnering with vendors and SI partners to ensure high-quality delivery. A strong ITIL background and effective communication with business teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on ERP implementation and support in Finance and SCM.
• Deep experience with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud or an equivalent like SAP/Workday.
• Strong ITIL-style incident, problem and change management.
• Bachelor's in CS/Engineering/Finance; MBA/Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets.
• Configure period-close, reconciliation, intercompany and reporting processes.
• Translate finance requirements into functional designs and hand-on configuration.
• Act as SME for Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain processes and their financial impact.
• Streamline procure-to-pay flows, approvals, supplier setup and controls.
• Identify and deliver automation opportunities across end-to-end processes.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents; drive root cause analysis.
• Lead data migration, reconciliation and reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher).
• Collaborate with vendors and system integrators to review designs and quality of delivery.
• Document designs, configurations and runbooks; coach colleagues on best practices.

About The Role

Careem is looking for a senior individual contributor who is a true functional expert in Oracle ERP. You Willbe the go-to specialist across Finance and Supply Chain, hands-on in the system every day: designingand configuring solutions, solving complex production issues, and turning business needs into stable,scalable ERP processes. You will work from Pakistan with stakeholders in the UAE and other Careemmarkets.

What Youll Do

• Finance
  • Act as the subject-matter expert for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and FixedAssets.
  • Configure and optimize period-close, reconciliation, intercompany and reporting processes.
  • Translate finance requirements into clear functional designs and hands-on configuration.
• Supply Chain & Procurement
  • Act as the subject-matter expert for Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain processes and theirfinancial impact.
  • Streamline procure-to-pay flows, approvals, supplier setup and controls.
  • Identify and deliver automation opportunities across the end-to-end process.
• Delivery, Support & Stability
  • Personally investigate and resolve production incidents, and drive root cause analysis so issues do notrecur.
  • Support major incident bridges as the functional authority for your modules.
  • Own quarterly release testing, regression and change readiness for your areas.
  • Lead data migration, reconciliation and reporting work (OTBI, BI Publisher).
  • Work with the Integration team on ERP connections to payments and data platforms (OIC,REST/SOAP).
  • Partner with vendors and system integrators to review designs and quality of delivery.
  • Document designs, configurations and runbooks, and coach colleagues on best practice.

What Youll Need

• Minimum 15 years of hands-on ERP implementation and support experience, with deep functionalexpertise in Finance and Supply Chain.
• Deep experience with Oracle ERP (Fusion Cloud), or an equivalent such as SAP or Workday.
• Proven record as a senior individual contributor on large multi-module programs, including integrationsand data migration.
• Strong grounding in ITIL-style incident, problem and change management.
• Ability to turn complex business needs into clear functional designs, and to explain them to technicaland non-technical audiences.
• Strong ownership, sound judgment and a calm approach to production issues.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field. An MBA or Mastersdegree is preferred.
