Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Diamond Evaluator with expertise in evaluating and grading rough diamonds. The candidate will work in a mining operation in Angola, maintaining the classification and reporting of diamonds. Ideal candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in diamond valuation, knowledge of the Kimberley Process, and be fluent in Portuguese and/or English. Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in diamond sorting and valuation.
• Prior experience working in African mining sites is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine rough diamonds using gemological tools.
• Grade diamonds based on the 4Cs.
• Estimate market value using current pricing data.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluation results.
• Collaborate with mining teams for safe handling.
