Speechify is hiring for its AI data team to own data collection and support model training. You will build high-quality datasets at petabyte scale by tightly integrating infrastructure, engineering, and research.

As a Software Engineer, you will be scrappy to source audio data, extend the ingestion pipeline on GCP with Terraform, and collaborate with scientists to improve cost, throughput, and quality for next-generation models.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of industry software development experience.
• Experience with data ingestion and large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Ingest and curate audio data for model training.
• Maintain and extend ingestion pipeline on GCP.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve data quality and throughput.
• Define dataset roadmap with AI Team and leadership.
