Job summary

Cummins Inc. seeks an accomplished data engineering leader to shape and deliver enterprise data platforms. You will drive design, development, and deployment of scalable data ingestions, ETL/ELT pipelines, and governance practices across cloud ecosystems.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to deliver reliable data solutions while mentoring engineers and promoting best practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years leading technical teams or projects.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and ETL/ELT.
• Proven delivery of large-scale data ingestion and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across data engineering initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Lead CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated deployments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Drive Agile processes and cross-functional collaboration.
