Job summary

Solvpath is seeking a senior data engineer/architect to own and evolve our data architecture, data movement, and platform stack. You will define KPI formulas and ensure every report is accurate, while enabling real-time, AI-driven decisions at scale.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in data engineering or architecture, 2+ years leading a platform end-to-end, and 3+ years with Databricks/Snowflake. Strong SQL, Python, and API work (Django preferred) are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering or architecture.
• 2+ years owning a platform end to end.
• 3+ years of production experience with Databricks, Snowflake or a similar lakehouse or warehouse.
• Strong SQL and Python, including APIs (Django preferred).
• Production experience with decision logic: decision trees, scoring or AI/ML models.

Responsibilities

• Own our data architecture: how data is structured, stored and moved, and which platforms we scale on.
• Define KPI formulas and ensure accuracy of every report and dashboard.
• Ensure speed and bandwidth for high-volume data.
• Enable real-time decisioning using rules, decision trees and AI models.
• Use AI to automate data workflows.

The role

You'll own our data architecture: how data is structured, stored and moved, and which platforms we scale on. You'll take us from reporting and dashboards to real-time, AI-driven decisions, define every KPI formula, and be able to explain every number.
