Senior Cost and Contract Manager
Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Play a key role in a high-profile infrastructure transformation for a leading international port and terminal operator. This is a client-side opportunity to shape the delivery of a major marine and cargo terminal development, backed by international investment and technical excellence.

Working closely with the Project Director, you'll be the critical commercial lead on one of the region’s flagship projects, ensuring robust cost and contract control while driving real value from a complex delivery ecosystem. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Implement effective contract strategies and procurement controls across major marine and cargo terminal works
  • Lead change management processes, ensuring scope shifts are fully assessed and communicated
  • Deliver disciplined cost reporting, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
  • Take ownership of contract administration, ensuring compliance and accountability at all levels
  • Champion dispute avoidance and resolution strategies, protecting commercial interests
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Project Director, preparing high-quality material to support key decisions
  • Engage and collaborate across functions to maintain alignment on contractual obligations and cost controls
What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial/Project Management, Engineering or similar; MRICS or equivalent preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience in capital projects, ideally in a client-side role
  • In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and EPC contracts, particularly in complex civil and marine infrastructure
  • Proven ability to manage claims, contract law, and large consultant/contractor ecosystems
  • A detail-driven, assertive mindset – you hold teams accountable and are comfortable challenging the status quo
