Job summary

j. awan & partners is looking for an outstanding tax professional to deliver top-quality client experiences and manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance and advisory work.

You will handle corporate tax returns, registrations and group formations while advising on structuring, reliefs and international considerations. The role requires managing a portfolio of local and international clients and leading engagements with strong analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of tax experience in a similar role, preferably in a large firm with multi‑jurisdictional presence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Law; professional qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UAE Corporate Tax returns, provisions and working papers for a portfolio of clients.
• Provide tax advisory support on UAE Corporate Tax and cross-border matters, including transfer pricing and elections.
• Manage client engagements, budgets, timelines and billing to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Lead client meetings, onboarding, KYC processes and engagement scoping; drive invoices and fees.
• Monitor tax risks and ensure compliance with FTA guidance and local regulations.
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership and development of the tax practice.
