We are a fast-growing hospitality technology company building automated financial systems for hotels worldwide. We are hiring a senior Bookkeeper or CPA-level professional to oversee a client-specific accounting function while helping drive the transition from manual processing to fully automated, technology-powered workflows. This role blends deep accounting expertise with an operational understanding of automation, quality control, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy and integrity of daily accounting work for a large client with significant transaction volume.
• Lead the rollout, testing, and validation of new automation workflows within our tech platform.
• Monitor automated outputs, identify exceptions, and ensure corrective actions are taken quickly.
• Partner with Product & Engineering to refine logic, rules, and system behaviour as automation scales.
• Supervise offshore accounting processors, ensuring accuracy, speed, and adherence to controls.
• Maintain SOPs and internal controls adapted to an automation-first environment.
• Produce performance, accuracy, and exception reports that help guide automation improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve upstream data issues and ensure end-to-end workflow stability.

Experience

• 5–10+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (high-volume environment preferred).
• CPA, CA, ACCA or similar advanced certification strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting controls, reconciliations, and process oversight.
• Experience working with automation tools, workflow systems, or software-driven accounting.
• Prior experience supervising or reviewing the work of accounting teams.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; strong analytical and communication abilities.
