Job summary

Zohorecruit in Islamabad, Pakistan, is seeking a software engineer to join a fast-growing startup. You will participate in the complete development cycle, architect and deliver new features, and collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, designers, and data scientists to build scalable solutions.

Candidates should have a degree in computer science or software engineering, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and hands-on experience with TypeScript, Docker, REST/GraphQL APIs,

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or closely related
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the given timeline

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform activities for the complete development cycle
• Architecting, planning and delivering the new features
• Work closely with other teams: Product manager, Developers (internal and external), QA, Designers, Data scientists, etc.
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Working knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB, MySql, etc.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Hands-on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of software development standards
• Debugging, code optimization, and performance improvements experience
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Web Services
• Experience using cloud i.e. AWS, Azure
