Job summary

Datamatics Technologies in Sweden is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in C#/.NET to design, build and maintain scalable backend services. You will optimize SQL Server data models, integrate complex data flows, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, Swedish language proficiency, and hands-on DevOps and IaC practices in on-premises Microsoft environments. This is a 12‑month contract with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience using C# and .NET Framework/.NET.
• Experience in Asset Management domain (Mandatory).
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, database development, and data modeling.
• Experience developing and maintaining complex integrations and data flows.
• Strong experience working in on-premises Microsoft environments.
• Hands-on experience establishing and configuring application and integration environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release processes.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience in requirements analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
