Job summary

GenZ Talent in Lahore is seeking a Senior Azure Specialist to lead the design, deployment, and administration of Azure infrastructure and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

The role focuses on secure, scalable IT operations and cloud transformation, with expertise in Azure services, enterprise security, identity management, and endpoint management. This is a full-time onsite position at Gulberg 3.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field with 5+ years of Azure and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure design and cloud security frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of Intune, Endpoint Manager and modern device management.
• Proven experience in enterprise cloud security and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure including VMs and Scale Sets.
• Configure Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers, Application Gateways).
• Manage Azure Storage, Recovery Services, ASR, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Administer Azure Virtual Desktop including Host Pools and FSLogix containers.
• Lead migrations On-Prem to Azure and SQL/mailbox/file migrations.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune).
• Implement Defender for Cloud and Defender for Office 365; enforce CA, MFA, Identity Protection.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments for performance, security, and cost.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and administration of cloud infrastructure and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

This role is critical in driving cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, enterprise security, identity management, and endpoint management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines
• Availability Sets, VM Scale Sets, Azure SQL databases, and hybrid environments (On-Prem AD + Azure)
• Configure and manage Azure networking components such as Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSG), Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Network Gateways
• Manage Azure Storage Accounts, Recovery Services Vaults, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
• Design and administer Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including Host Pools, Session Hosts, Application Groups, scaling policies, and FSLogix profile containers
• Perform server and workload migrations (On-Prem to Azure), SQL migrations, mailbox migrations, and file server migrations
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
• Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft 365 Defender, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Protection
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments to ensure high performance, security compliance, and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred)
• 5+ years of professional experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure design and cloud security frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of Intune, Endpoint Manager, and modern device management
• Proven experience in enterprise cloud security and compliance initiatives
