Job summary

PwC International in Islamabad is seeking a sustainability generalist to help clients integrate ESG considerations across strategy, transformation and reporting. You'll analyse client needs and provide consulting across the sustainability lifecycle.

The role demands practical experience in climate risk assessments, GHG accounting, data analysis (GIS) and effective stakeholder communication, with a focus on delivering tangible environmental and social impact for organisations.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in climate risk assessment and GHG accounting.
• Experience in climate data analysis, GIS and spatial data analysis.
• Understanding of leading climate frameworks, including IPCC climate scenarios.
• Proficiency in climate modelling tools and technologies relevant to climate science.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to work with business teams, review data and clearly explain key findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct climate-related risk assessments (transition and physical risks) across the value chain, evaluating likelihood under scenarios and potential impacts.
• Calculate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
• Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities and guidance on sustainability strategy and reporting.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and support decision-making.
