Job summary

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate in Sustainability to help integrate environmental, social, governance (ESG) considerations into client strategies and operations. You will assess climate risks, analyze data, and support reporting across the sustainability lifecycle, including strategy and transformation.

You will work with clients to identify opportunities, develop actionable insights, and communicate complex findings to business stakeholders, contributing to positive social and environmental

Qualifications

• Experience in climate risk assessment and GHG accounting/reporting.
• Experience in climate data analysis, GIS and spatial data analysis.
• Understanding of leading climate frameworks, e.g., IPCC scenarios.
• Proficiency in climate modelling tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to work with business teams and explain findings clearly.

As a sustainability generalist at PwC, you will utilise your skills and experience across environmental, social, governance (ESG) topics and sustainability more broadly. You will analyse client needs and provide consulting services across different areas in the sustainability lifecycle, including strategy, transformation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct climate-related risk assessments (transition and physical risks), including identifying material risks and opportunities across value chain of an entity, evaluating their likelihood under various scenarios, assessing their potential financial and operational impacts, and calculate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol.

Key Qualifications

• Practical experience in climate risk assessment and GHG accounting and reporting.
• Experience in climate data analysis, including GIS and spatial data analysis.
• Sound understanding of leading climate frameworks, including the IPCC's climate scenarios.
