The Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Manager to lead our AI engineering team, combining technical expertise in Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning with strong leadership skills. You will oversee the development, deployment, and scaling of AI models, manage a team of engineers, and ensure production-grade solutions for real-world time-series applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI engineers and data scientists.
• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of deep learning models (LSTMs, Transformers, and other advanced architectures) for time-series applications.
• Guide the implementation and fine-tuning of reinforcement learning algorithms (PPO, DDPG, SAC) for control and optimization.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs for model inference and integration with cloud systems (FastAPI preferred).
• Manage cloud deployments, monitoring, and scaling (AWS expertise preferred).
• Establish best practices for AI lifecycle management: checkpointing, versioning, drift detection, and retraining.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and domain experts to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
• Stay up to date with AI research and translate advancements into practical applications.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 7-14 years in AI/ML engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep Learning: LSTMs, Transformers, and advanced architectures for time-series
• Reinforcement Learning: Practical experience with DRL frameworks (Stable-Baselines3, Gymnasium, or custom)
• Programming: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and relevant ML libraries
• Model APIs: Experience building APIs (FastAPI preferred)
• AI Lifecycle Management: Checkpointing, versioning, drift detection, retraining
• Applied Problem-Solving: Handling large, noisy, real-world time-series datasets

Nice to Have

• AWS deployment, monitoring, and scaling experience
• Exposure to CI/CD for ML pipelines
• Proven experience mentoring or leading technical teams
