Job summary

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in AI, ML, or Software Engineering.
• 4+ years hands-on experience delivering enterprise Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms and cloud or on-prem deployments is highly preferred.

Job description

The Senior AI Engineer will lead the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions. The role involves collaborating with clients to understand business requirements, conducting workshops, designing AI architectures, developing scalable AI applications, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires working onsite in Karachi and contributing to multiple AI initiatives across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms and cloud or on-premises AI deployments is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Generative AI, Applied AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, SLMs, NLP, RAG, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, and Responsible AI.
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as LangChain, LangGraph, Llama Index, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Sentence Transformers, and DSPy (preferred).
• Experience with Intelligent Document Processing technologies including OCR, Document Intelligence, Document Classification, Information Extraction, and Document Validation.
• Proficiency in enterprise AI platforms such as NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NVIDIA NIM, NVIDIA NeMo, NVIDIA Triton Inference Server, Red Hat OpenShift AI, Teradata AI Factory, Azure AI Foundry, or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills in Python, FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs, SQL, Git, Linux, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI/CD, GPU-based inference, Model Serving, and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of vector databases (FAISS, Milvus, Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate), Azure AI Search, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and Redis.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, technical presentation, mentoring, and client-facing consulting skills.
