Job summary

ACCA Careers in Lahore is seeking a highly skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join our UK-focused practice. You will handle year-end accounts, CT600, VAT and SATR compliance while maintaining strong communication in English and adherence to UK standards.

You will support a team of accountants and a team manager, mentor apprentices, and contribute to quality control through file reviews. The role follows UK hours (9am-5pm UK time) from Lahore.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience within a UK-based accountancy practice.
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must be a Part-qualified/ Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• UK-based timings from 9 am to 5 pm UK time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts, CT600 and corporation tax computations.
• Compute Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients.
• Support a team of Accountants and a Team Manager to deliver the service.
• Train, coach and mentor apprentices and junior accountants.
• Quality control and file reviews of colleagues.
• Prepare accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax and SATR.

• Tax computations and Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients
• Supporting a team of Accountants, and a Team Manager, to continuously deliver the agreed level of service
• Training, coaching and mentoring apprentices and Junior Accountants
• Quality control and file reviews of colleagues
• An ability to prepare accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax and SATR.

The ideal Semi Senior Accountant will have the following experience/ skills

• Due to the level of this role, you must have 1 -2 years of experience within a UK-based accountancy practice.
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must be a Part-qualified/ Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• We strictly follow UK-based timings, which will be from 9 am to 5 pm UK time.
