Job summary

SAPPHIRE FINISHING MILLS in Lahore is seeking a SAP ABAP Developer to build and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, reports and interfaces, and to design Fiori applications and Gateway services for integrated solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience, with exposure to S/4HANA and HANA, plus strong analytical, testing and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or relevant professional certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Experience with SAP ABAP, Fiori, and Gateway development.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and HANA.
• Knowledge of web services, interfaces, and system integration.
• Experience with data migration and automation solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Design and support SAP Fiori applications and SAP Gateway services.
• Develop integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely technical resolutions.
• Support data migration, system performance tuning, and optimization activities.
• Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce Excel dependency.
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to junior team members.
