Job summary

Descon Engineering Limited – Corporate SAP ERP is seeking an SAP ABAP/BTP developer to design, develop, and optimize SAP technical solutions supporting seamless business operations. The role focuses on ABAP programming, BTP integrations, and SAP upgrades within a dynamic corporate ERP environment.

You will collaborate with MM, SD, FICO, HCM, PM, and PP teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions, automate processes, and maintain technical documentation and transport logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (Minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent)
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP and SAP BTP development

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing SAP programs, reports, forms, interfaces, and technical objects
• Building and integrating applications using SAP BTP (APIs, OData services, workflows, CDS views)
• Resolving technical issues including performance bottlenecks, dumps, and integration failures
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, test cases, and transport logs
• Collaborating with functional teams (MM, SD, FICO, HCM, PM, PP, etc.) for end‑to‑end solution delivery
• Supporting SAP upgrades, rollouts, and ongoing digital transformation projects
• Driving continuous improvement through automation and adoption of best technical practices

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
