Job summary

Mashreq Careers is seeking a Compliance Transactions Reviewer to monitor and act on sanctioned names/entities across countries, ensuring adherence to turnaround times and procedures. You will work closely with the Compliance team to validate transactions and escalate where necessary, maintaining strict policy adherence.

The role requires 4-6 years of bank compliance experience, solid MS Excel/PowerPoint skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
• 4-6 years' experience in bank compliance.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel and PowerPoint).
• Good knowledge of general banking rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and action transactions against sanction hits with accuracy.
• Escalate to compliance for any sanction hit requiring approval.
• Ensure all transactions are processed before end of day per cut-off.
• Coordinate with Compliance for timely decisions and updates.
• Identify gaps and suggest process improvements to reduce risk.
