Job summary

CNTXT AI is seeking a Robotics Data Collector to support the gathering of high-quality robotics and egocentric data used to train AI models in controlled labs and real-world settings.

You will work hands-on with robotic systems, cameras, and sensors, executing predefined data collection scenarios, recording actions and interactions while adhering to safety and privacy guidelines. Strong attention to detail and reliable execution are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 0–3+ years of experience in data collection, field operations, or lab environments.
• Technical or hardware-related background required or preferred.
• Comfortable working with cameras, sensors, and recording equipment.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection Execution: Collect robotics and egocentric (first-person) data using cameras; execute data collection tasks based on protocols; ensure recording of actions, interactions, and environments.
• Robotics Operation Support: Assist in operating robotic systems during data collection; support setup and calibration of cameras and sensors; ensure proper hardware functioning.
• Data Quality & Validation: Review collected data for clarity and accuracy; identify and flag issues such as sensor misalignment; follow quality guidelines for AI training.
• Experiment Setup & Execution: Prepare environments for data collection sessions; execute tasks like object manipulation and human-robot interaction recordings; follow detailed instructions.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of data collection sessions; provide feedback to improve data collection processes and protocols.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow lab safety protocols and guidelines; handle robotics equipment with care; ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements.
