Job summary

Master Group is seeking a CA/ACCA-qualified finance professional with 10–13 years of experience to lead budgeting, forecasting, closing, and reporting. You will manage retail reconciliations, manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, margins, and working capital, ensuring tax compliance and robust controls.

Role requires hands-on, cross-functional collaboration with Retail, Manufacturing, Operations, and Procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting, costing, and financial analysis.
• Proven experience across both retail and manufacturing finance.
• Hands-on Oracle ERP experience.
• Strong understanding of retail reconciliations, inventory, working capital, and cash flow.
• Sound knowledge of direct and indirect taxation and statutory requirements.
• Strong commercial orientation and decision-support capability.
• Sleeves-up, hands-on approach with operations and issue investigation.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end closing.
• Drive robust financial controls, statutory compliance, and accurate management reporting.
• Manage retail outlet reconciliations, including sales, cash/card collections, inventory, receivables, and inter-outlet balances.
• Oversee manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, production variances, BOMs, and product margins.
• Monitor retail and manufacturing performance, identifying cost, margin, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Monitor tax compliance including direct and indirect taxes.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital and identify opportunities for improved liquidity and capital efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational decisions.
• Ensure effective utilization of Oracle ERP for financial control, reporting, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Work closely with Retail, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Procurement teams to resolve financial and operational issues.
