Accelerec Ltd. is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong Fortinet expertise to design, deploy, and support security solutions for enterprise environments.

The role focuses on Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and related Fortinet tools, with exposure to Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei platforms. Strong troubleshooting and project delivery skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or related field.
• 3–5 years of networking and network security experience.
• Hands-on Fortinet FortiGate experience and related products.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise network security solutions.
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, and security principles.
• Experience with enterprise customers, integrators, or service providers.
• Ability to work independently and manage escalations.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, troubleshoot Fortinet security solutions in complex environments.
• Configure FortiGate NGFWs, VPNs, policies, NAT, and security profiles.
• Manage FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralized control and reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex network security and connectivity issues.
• Support SD-WAN, segmentation, and SASE as applicable.
• Collaborate with multi-vendor platforms (Cisco/Juniper/Huawei).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Network Security Engineer with in-depth expertise in Fortinet security products and a solid foundation in enterprise and service provider networking. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Fortinet security solutions in complex customer environments.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering network security projects, providing technical support and escalation and supporting enterprise and service provider customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fortinet Security Solutions

• Configure, deploy, and manage Fortinet FortiGate next-generation firewalls (NGFW).
• Implement advanced firewall policies, NAT, IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, security profiles, application control, web filtering, and intrusion prevention.
• Design and troubleshoot high-availability (HA) configurations and firewall clustering.
• Implement and manage Fortinet FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralized management, logging, reporting, and security analysis.
• Work with Fortinet FortiMail, FortiWeb, FortiAuthenticator, FortiNAC, FortiPAM, and FortiSandbox as required by customer projects.
• Support Fortinet security solutions involving SD-WAN, segmentation, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), where applicable.

2. Networking Expertise

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLANs, and inter-VLAN routing.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and IS-IS.
• Understand switching technologies, including STP, LACP, EtherChannel, and Layer 2/Layer 3 switching.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues involving routing, asymmetric traffic, NAT, and firewall policies.
• Understand MPLS, IPsec, GRE, and other WAN connectivity technologies.
• Work with Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, and other networking platforms in multi-vendor environments.

3. Professional Certifications and Development

• Maintain relevant Fortinet certifications and keep up to date with Fortinet products, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in OEM training, technical workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Support internal technical enablement and mentoring of junior engineers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in networking and network security.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and associated security products.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise network security solutions.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, and network security principles.
• Experience working with enterprise customers, system integrators, telecommunications operators, or managed service providers.
• Ability to work independently, manage customer escalations, and deliver projects within agreed timelines.

Preferred Certifications

• Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) in Secure Networking or an equivalent current Fortinet certification.
• Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) in Network Security or an equivalent advanced certification.
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Juniper JNCIP, or equivalent networking certification (Optional)
• Fortinet NSE 4–NSE 7 credentials, where relevant to the candidate's certification history.
