Job summary

GulfDesign UAE in Karachi invites a part-time DevOps Developer to join our team. You will build and maintain development and production environments, implement automation, and monitor system performance to ensure smooth software delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in on-call rotation, and drive infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation, with container tech like Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java).
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain development and production environments using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Implement automation processes for software deployments, testing, and monitoring
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software delivery
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the development/production environments
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support when necessary
