Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. is seeking a Relationship Officer in Deposit Banking to manage relationships with individual and corporate clients, focusing on deposit accounts and cross-selling opportunities.

The role emphasizes client acquisition, retention, and meeting portfolio targets with a strong emphasis on CASA and term deposits. The incumbent will build a deposit mobilization team, coordinate with branch units, and ensure excellent service to maintain the bank’s positive reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, accounting, marketing, economics, finance or equivalent.
• Good understanding of Deposit products and its workability.
• Knowledge about CASA & bilinear fundamental to achieve CASA growth.
• Minimum 1-year relevant work experience in sales, management, and operations in retail/consumer banking.

Responsibilities

• Execute customer acquisition to build a healthy liability portfolio.
• Grow CALSA/TD customer portfolio within the agreed time frame.
• Achieve portfolio targets for CASA/SA/TD on various time horizons.
• Onboard freelancers/brand ambassadors for a 25-head deposit marketing team.
• Maintain portfolio mix targets between CASA and Term Deposit.
• Provide fairly priced deposits to support retail deposit growth with multiple accounts.
• Develop relationships with key clients and convert them into ongoing business.
• Coordinate with branch units to meet bank policies and procedures.
• Ensure NTB account opening and deposit mobilization run rate daily.
• Address client problems by coordinating with RM/BM and address needs.
• Seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell to existing clients.
• Monitor competitors to retain MMBL clients and maintain service quality.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

What is Relationship Officer Deposit - MMBL?

• In Mobilink Bank, a Relationship Officer in Deposit Banking is typically responsible for managing relationships with individual and corporate clients regarding their deposit accounts. Their primary focus is on acquiring new clients, retaining existing ones, and ensuring that clients' deposit banking needs are met effectively.

What Relationship Officer Deposit - MMBL does?

• Responsible for execution of customer acquisition process in order to build a healthy portfolio for liability growth and cross sell targets of the team.
• Ensure to build up a CALSA / TD customer portfolio within agreed time period.
• Ensure overall assigned portfolio targets are achieved product wise CALSA / SA / TD on weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual basis.
• Take onboard Free Lancers / Brand Ambassador to make a deposit mobilization team of 25 head counts for retail deposit marketing.
• Ensure targeted percentage of portfolio mix i.e. between CASA and Term Deposit is achieved.
• Achieve fairly priced deposit to support retail deposit growth on the back of multiple accounts.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with key potential clients, and develop these into successful, ongoing business relationships.
• Ensure the objectives are met within Bank policies, procedures, strategies and maintain coordination with internal units of the branch.
• Ensure deposit mobilization and NTB Account Opening run rate on daily basis.
• Understand the problems and challenges of clients and seek help from RM/BM to better address those needs.
• Seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell to existing clients.
• Monitor and assess the activities of our competitors to proactively satisfy and retain MMBL clients.
• Provide excellent service to maintain a positive reputation for the business.
• Resolve any customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Any task/ assignment assigned by Line Manager to be completed in efficient and effective manner.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Relationship Officer Deposit - MMBL?

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable Institution in business administration, commerce, accounting, marketing, economics, finance or equivalent.
• A good understanding of Deposit products and its workability.
• Must possess knowledge about CASA & bilinear fundamental to achieve CASA growth.
• Preferably have a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience in sales, management, and operations experience within the retail/consumer banking or any other industry.
