Responsibilities
- Implement approved sales/service plans to achieve growth objectives, agreeing on micro‑level plans with Branch Manager/Relationship Manager.
- Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with customers per the bank’s SOPs.
- Achieve sales targets in assigned areas while upholding ethical and moral practices.
- Ensure target achievement through genuine sales, avoiding family loaning, activist base lending, and adjustment lending.
- Drive profitability through loan sales and customer expansion, following SOPs.
- Market company products and devise marketing strategies.
- Utilize persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects and industry positioning.
- Assess customer profiles using the five Cs of credit.
- Disseminate terms and conditions of offered products.
- Maintain on‑track performance by physically verifying prospective clients.
- Facilitate proactive collections, ensuring timely repayment and targeting 100% loan collections per SOPs.
- Exercise careful handling of customers’ legal documents to prevent misuse.
- Guide customers to repay loans at cash counters only, adhering to strict collection manual compliance.
- Prepare weekly field activity planners and highlight deviations in consultation with the LM.
- Schedule monthly/quarterly customer meetings per defined product programs.
- Conduct loan booking in strict compliance with the bank’s policies, procedures, ethics, and standards.
- Continuously review product and service knowledge, recommending improvements via personal/client feedback.
- Perform market assessment/research to identify selling possibilities and new markets, reviewing existing areas for final decisions in collaboration with the line manager.
- Meet internal service standards, ensuring no service‑related complaints arise, following the bank’s fair treatment of customer policy.
- Develop and sustain long‑lasting relationships with customers.
- Report potential fraud or loss cases to the line manager/HOD.
- Ensure compliance with bank product SOPs, SBP regulations, and internal controls to safeguard the bank’s reputation.
- Lead the branch to achieve profitability objectives, selling asset products while adhering to MMBL policies and SBP regulations.
- Implement sales plans based on market assessment of potential.
- Develop relationship strategies for the assigned branch/area, focusing on verification, loan disbursement, collection, and cross‑sell.
- Manage the asset portfolio, achieving targets through timely sales, verification, and collection.
- Motivate the team to maximize business volumes and employee retention.
- Market bank products and prepare sales strategies considering targets and market demands.
- Act as Line Manager for Relationship Officers – Asset Sales, providing training and first‑line credit review support.
- Manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate the sales force to meet professional standards and KPI targets.
- Plan capacity to meet loan volumes and zero default through effective verification, collection, and cross‑sell.
- Deploy resources to align with business priorities and maximize each team member’s productivity.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure timely loan disbursals and cancellations following SOPs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the microfinance industry.
