Job summary

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. is seeking a Regional Credit Manager to oversee credit assessment, risk management, and portfolio quality across multiple locations in Pakistan. The role collaborates with sales and finance teams to drive growth while controlling credit risk.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of credit-related experience in microfinance, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of prudential regulations. A graduate degree is required, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of microfinance / consumer lending principles and prudential regulations.
• Exposure to the financial sector (microfinance banking) is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial / credit analytic skills.
• Strong portfolio analysis & monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Approval Due Diligence and verification of borrowers and scrutiny of documents.
• Verify borrower information and assess creditworthiness in pre-approval verifications.
• Assess borrower understanding of business, loan purpose, and key terms.
• Ensure adherence to client protection principles and ethical conduct by teams.
• Review post-disbursement files for compliance and completeness.
• Conduct post-disbursement verifications and consolidate findings for stakeholders.
• Review branch audit reports and rectify credit-related observations.
• Maintain MIS by branch and VO for VO performance and incentives.
• Lead and train Verification Officers and sales/verification staff.
• Oversee goldsmith onboarding, reassessment, and auction processes where applicable.
• Lead leadership activities, annual goals, and staff development.
