Job summary

Phenologix in Lahore is seeking a React Native Developer to build high-quality cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android. You will design, implement, and optimize features across the stack, coordinating with backend and design teams to deliver robust user experiences.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of production React Native experience, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, testing, and CI/CD practices.

Phenologix is urgently seeking a React Native Developer with experience building high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party platforms.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, stability, and battery usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across iOS and Android platforms.
• Implement authentication (OAuth, JWT, Firebase Auth, etc.), secure local storage, push notifications, deep linking, and analytics integrations.
• Manage application builds, signing, deployment, and releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Participate in writing unit, integration, and automated tests to maintain application quality.
• Participate in code reviews and establish mobile development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers to accurately implement responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Work with backend and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and development environments.
• Monitor production applications and address crashes, performance issues, and user-reported problems.
• Implement accessible, user-friendly, and responsive mobile interfaces by following mobile UX and accessibility best practices.

Requirements

• 1 year of proven experience developing production applications with React Native.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern state-management approaches.
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, MobX, React Query, or similar libraries.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and third‑party SDKs.
• Familiarity with native iOS and Android development concepts, including Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin.
• Experience building applications using React Native CLI and/or Expo.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of mobile security, local storage, authentication, permissions, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills for applications across iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Experience upgrading React Native versions and managing native dependencies.
• Expertise in managing enterprise-level projects while communicating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
