The increasing scale and complexity of education data, digital platforms, and results-based management requirements under SCG, STG, and UNICEF's broader Education Programme in Sindh necessitate dedicated technical capacity within UNICEF to support system design, data integration, quality assurance, analytics, and effective use of education data for decision-making.
Under the supervision of the Education Manager (P4), the Education Officer (Data and Systems) will play a key role in supporting SELD and UNICEF to institutionalize data-driven governance, strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems, and ensure that digital investments translate into improved service delivery, enhanced accountability, and sustained gains in learning outcomes across the province. The Officer will lead the planning and implementation of education data digitization and systems integration initiatives, with a strong emphasis on building SELD's institutional capacity and government ownership of data infrastructure, systems, and processes.

UNICEF appointments are subject to medical clearance. Issuance of a visa by the host country of the duty station is required for IP positions and will be facilitated by UNICEF. Appointments may also be subject to inoculation (vaccination) requirements, including against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid). Should you be selected for a position with UNICEF, you either must be inoculated as required or receive a medical exemption from the relevant department of the UN. Otherwise, the selection will be canceled.
