A rapidly growing company in Gujrat is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radio technology and be able to troubleshoot, maintain and repair various types of radio equipment. The Radio Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our radio systems and providing technical support to our staff. This position offers a salary of $1400 as well as accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on all radio equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or technical problems with radio systems.
• Install, configure and test new radio equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop solutions for complex technical issues.
• Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
• Train staff on proper usage and maintenance of radio equipment when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Radio Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of different types of radios and their components.
• Familiarity with various diagnostic tools and software used in radio technology.
• Experience with installation, configuration and testing of new radio equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to effectively explain technical issues to non-technical staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Certifications in radio technology or telecommunications.
• Experience working in remote locations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed.
