The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region includes 14 countries.
MENA TQ’s primary focus and responsibility is to support our client teams with provision of timely, quality advice and guidance to enable them to deliver high quality work, manage risk effectively, innovate, develop business, maintain market presence, and remain in compliance with regulatory, legislative, and internal EY requirements continuously and consistently.
Another of our priorities is to work closely with Global Tax Quality and other MENA business functions such as Risk Management, General Counsel’s Office, Operations, and the wider EY network in delivering and supporting a variety of global and local priorities and initiatives.
We support client teams throughout the entire engagement lifecycle as necessary, provide them with tailored training, communicate messages of importance and act as a vital part of consultation network between teams and other business units.
In addition to day-to-day and defined TQ responsibilities, we get involved in specialized projects, assist with development and updates of policies and guidance as part of global and local efforts, and support the MENA Tax and Law practice in the execution of different strategies and developments.
The role is split between approximately 75% technical and 25% administrative support.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Someone who has proven skills, thrives working in a dynamic, global, multi‑cultural organization and is able to think creatively. The candidate should be comfortable to work on several initiatives simultaneously with different members of and outside the TQ team. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills along with written and verbal communication skills.
