Job summary

TalentHue is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client in Pakistan. The role focuses on testing applications to ensure quality standards are met, identifying bugs, and documenting issues for the development team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with manual testing, bug tracking (Jira/Bugzilla), and regression testing within Agile environments; familiarity with test management tools is a plus. This is a full-time onsite opportunity in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a quality assurance tester or similar role.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting a plus.
• Familiarity with test management software (e.g., QTest, TestRail).
• Knowledge of basic automation tools is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results.
• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Ensure software functions as intended and meets business requirements.
• Report defects and assist in troubleshooting with the development team.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on usability.
