Job Overview

Abacus is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee client projects supporting the US market. The ideal candidate will lead multiple cross‑functional initiatives from planning to delivery; ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is suited for a proactive communicator and problem‑solver with a solid technical foundation, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a passion for driving results. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients, technical experts, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead project kickoff sessions and ensure alignment of all stakeholders.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day project operations to ensure progress aligns with goals and milestones.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) to track performance and report progress.
  • Manage communication with stakeholders providing timely updates, reports, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Bridge communication between technical and non‑technical teams, translating requirements effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and technical challenges early.
  • Ensure all project documentation, deliverables, and closure reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing projects, preferably in IT, consulting, or technology‑driven environments.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering within deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
  • Technical familiarity with software development, data analytics, cloud solutions, or enterprise systems.
  • Excellent communication, client‑handling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work in US business hours to coordinate directly with clients and teams.
