Job summary

Haball Private Limited is seeking a client-focused Project Manager to bridge business needs with technical delivery for fintech solutions. You will manage client expectations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive projects from initiation to completion.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of PM experience in FinTech or software development, strong communication skills, and hands-on use of Jira, Figma, Visio, and MS Project. PMP/PRINCE2 or Scrum Master certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Project Management experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Software Development.
• Proven experience in client-facing project management, stakeholder engagement, and managing client expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage software projects from requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including Developers, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with digital payments, financing solutions, banking integrations, and the fintech ecosystem.
• Experience working with banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions will be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Figma, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, planning, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and challenging deadlines effectively.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and effective management of expectations.
• Understand client requirements, translate business needs into actionable project plans, and ensure alignment between clients and internal teams.
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution, on-time delivery, and adherence to agreed scope and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, and Business Analysis (BA), to ensure seamless collaboration and timely completion of deliverables.
• Facilitate client meetings, project kick-offs, requirement discussions, progress reviews, and status updates.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, proactively addressing bottlenecks and escalating concerns when necessary.
• Coordinate with banks, payment gateways, financial institutions, and external partners to ensure successful integrations and implementation.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage sprints, backlogs, deliverables, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain project documentation, track progress, and provide transparent reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure successful project handover, client satisfaction, and alignment between delivered solutions and business objectives.
