Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence in Pakistan is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical & Automation) to design, implement and commission control and power systems across oil & gas, petrochemicals and utilities. You will develop PLC, DCS, SCADA and PMS configurations and support hardware, panel and instrument design under the Project Manager.

The role requires 3–4 years’ engineering design experience, familiarity with IEC 61850 and industrial networks, and strong problem-solving and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3–4 years of engineering design experience; site commissioning is a plus.
• Experience with control and power management systems: PLC, DCS, SCADA, PMS, RTUs.
• Understanding of industrial networks and IEC 61850/IEC 101 is preferred.
• Self-driven, proactive problem-solver with good customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned project tasks under supervision to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop, configure, and program PLC, SCADA, DCS, and PMS systems.
• Support design, hardware, panel, instrumentation, and software engineering activities.

INTECH’s commitment to providing fully packaged, reliable solutions ensures you will contribute to transformative projects that enhance power distribution and infrastructure efficiency.Our **E-House Solutions** are a testament to our dedication to delivering high-quality, scalable electrical infrastructure, reflecting our focus on excellence, reliability, and overcoming industry challenges.**What You’ll Lead and Deliver** :* Execute assigned project tasks under the supervision of the Lead Engineer, Project Lead, or Project Manager, ensuring timely and quality delivery.* Develop, configure, and program DCS, PLC, SCADA, and PMS systems, including HMI development.* Support system design, hardware design, panel design, instrumentation, electrical, network, and software engineering activities under the guidance of the Project Manager/Project Lead.* Develop, maintain, and utilize engineering tools, processes, and methodologies to ensure efficient execution and quality of project deliverables.* Prepare and maintain project engineering documentation in accordance with project and company requirements.* Perform internal testing, system integration testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at INTECH offices or designated locations globally, independently or with support from the Project Manager/Project Lead.* Execute site activities, installation support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project start-up activities at customer locations worldwide.* Travel to other INTECH offices, project sites, and customer locations globally as required for project execution.* Maintain and manage technical query lists for internal and customer-related queries, ensuring timely resolution and closure.* Deliver high-quality engineering outputs with minimal rework, requiring only necessary review and approval from the Project Manager/Project Lead.* Ensure all assigned tasks and project deliverables are completed within defined project schedules and deadlines.* Maintain a high level of technical quality and ensure overall satisfaction of the Project Manager/Project Lead with assigned deliverables.* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and engineering challenges encountered during project execution.* Ensure compliance with INTECH Quality Management System (QMS), engineering procedures, safety standards, and project-specific requirements.* Accurately record and report project-related working hours and activities in Project Server.* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding engineering inputs, technical clarifications, documentation, and project deliverables.* Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Lead Engineers, engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.#### Requirements**To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:*** Bachelor’s/Master Degree in engineering or in related field* Shall have 3-4 years of engineering design experience. Exposure to sites commissioning will be an added advantage.* Shall have experience of design, installation, and commissioning of control and power management systems including PLC, DCS, SCADA, PMS, RTU’s. Candidates with experience of interfacing electrical systems with RTU’s & PLC’s will be preferred* Shall have basic understanding of industrial networks and communication protocols.
