Creative Chaos is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for React Native to lead front-end mobile development across platforms, ensuring secure, high-performance, bug-free code and mentoring a team of engineers.

You will analyze requirements, write tests, collaborate across functions, and drive code quality while adopting new technologies and guiding the recruitment and upskilling of team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of related experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency with Native APIs rendering in mobile apps.
• Transitioned from native iOS/Android to React Native.
• Strong TypeScript and GraphQL backend experience.
• Understanding of REST APIs and offline storage.
• Experience with Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java is advantageous.
• Proficient in CSS, HTML, and cross-platform code.
• Strong design pattern knowledge and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Jira workflows.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication.

A Principal Software Engineer makes sure that the functionality, security, and performance of the server application are as per the design and are completely bug-free. Principal engineers have a responsibility to lead a team of engineers and mentor team members through continuous training and guidance.
