Job summary

The Citizen Foundation in Lodharan is seeking a committed education leader for a morning shift role. The position focuses on promoting evidence-based learning, recruiting and developing teachers, and fostering a collaborative school culture.

Pick & Drop services are provided, with emphasis on improving every child’s learning outcomes. Applicants should have a graduate degree and preferably B-Ed/M-Ed, with at least 2 years of teaching or equivalent senior experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Preferable B-Ed/M-Ed qualification.
• 2 years teaching experience OR 1+ year as Senior Teacher/Principal OR 1+ year in non-school management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit quality teachers through Teacher Selection process.
• Develop school improvement plan and implement it.
• Monitor classroom quality via lesson plans and observations.
• Work on teacher quality through demo sessions and feedback.
• Monitor student performance per policy.
• Organize and monitor co-curricular activities, timetable, assemblies, libraries and labs.
• Attend training sessions and conduct on-the-job training for faculty.
• Conduct term tests and examinations in a timely manner.
• Build team spirit and focus on teacher retention.
• Develop community relationships to promote education for both genders.
