Responsibilities include recruiting and developing teachers, monitoring classroom performance, managing enrolment, community outreach, finance and facilities, and timely reporting.

• Promote evidence-based learning and teaching by monitoring school progress.
• Recruit, develop and retain quality teachers.
• Foster a culture of mutual learning, collaboration and respect among the school community.
• Develop the school improvement plan and ensure its implementation.
• Monitor classroom quality via lesson plans and observations.
• Organize and manage co-curricular activities, timetables and facilities.
• Attend training and conduct on-the-job training for faculty.
• Conduct term tests and examinations in a transparent and timely manner.
• Build team spirit and focus on teacher retention.
• Develop strong relations with the community to promote education for both genders.
• Maintain student enrolment targets through effective enrolment strategies.
• Coordinate with Area and Regional HR for staff hiring and performance management.
• Maintain school accounts and ensure proper documentation and budgeting.
• Ensure maintenance of building and premises and timely utilities management.
• Submit reports and other documents on time.
