Job summary

Job description

As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Faisalabad. Your duties will include conducting site surveys and assessments, developing preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects and ensuring compliance with local building codes and historic preservation regulations. You will work closely with contractors, engineers and other professionals to ensure the safe and effective preservation of these important structures. Your main goal as a Preservation Architect will be to maintain the historical integrity of buildings while also making them functional for modern use. This may involve identifying and repairing structural issues, restoring original design elements or incorporating modern amenities into historic spaces. You will also be responsible for creating detailed documentation of all preservation work for future reference. To excel in this role you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation. Previous experience working on restoration projects is highly preferred. You should have strong knowledge of architectural history, materials, construction techniques and building codes. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working with a variety of stakeholders.
