Job summary

SecureLine is seeking an Experienced Turner to join our workshop in Karachi, Pakistan. You will set up and operate machine tools to manufacture precision parts according to drawings and specifications. The role is full-time with competitive monthly pay and opportunities for growth.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, use precision measuring instruments, and maintain safe, clean work areas while following all safety protocols. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Turner or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of machine tool operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) files to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
• Select the appropriate materials and tools for each job.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
