SME Careers is seeking a PR and Communications SME to review AI-generated outputs and craft expert communications content on an hourly, remote contractor basis.
You will evaluate reasoning quality, messaging discipline, tone, and stakeholder fit; provide precise feedback and write gold-standard rewrites with rationale; familiarity with crisis communications a plus.
The role supports training data for AI models, with ongoing opportunities as projects arise.
In this hourly, remote contractor role, you will work as a PR & Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review AI-generated PR/communications outputs and/or create expert communications content, evaluating reasoning quality, messaging discipline, and step-by-step decision-making while providing precise written feedback. You will assess solutions for clarity, accuracy, tone, stakeholder fit, and adherence to the prompt; identify issues in narrative coherence, positioning, media readiness, reputational risk, claims/compliance, and crisis-response logic; fact-check statements where needed; write high-quality explanations and model deliverables (e.g., press releases, statements, FAQs, pitches, comms plans) that demonstrate best practices; and rate and compare multiple responses based on effectiveness, correctness, and reasoning quality.
This role is with SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, delivering training data for many of the world’s largest AI companies and foundation-model labs. Your PR and communications expertise directly helps improve the world’s premier AI models by making their public-facing writing more accurate, on-message, risk-aware, and clearly explained.
There is no immediate project for this role; however, if qualified, you will be among the first experts we reach out to when relevant opportunities arise. This will also provide you with access to future projects available through our expert network.
