Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plasterer or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Physical strength and stamina to work with heavy materials for long periods.
• Knowledge of different plaster materials and their applications.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, brushes, and sanders.
• Ability to read blueprints or design plans is a plus but not required.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning them, removing old paint or wallpaper, and filling in cracks or holes.
• Measure and mix ingredients to create the appropriate plaster consistency.
• Apply plaster using trowels or spray guns to surfaces.
• Smooth out rough spots or uneven areas with hand tools.
• Create texture or patterns using various techniques like troweling or sanding.
• Repair imperfections in existing plaster work.
• Follow safety procedures when using power tools and chemicals.
• Collaborate with team members to finish projects on time.
