Job summary

SmartAgro in Gujrat, Pakistan is hiring a Plasterboard Worker to install and repair plasterboard walls, ceilings and partitions in residential and commercial buildings. You will measure, cut, fit and secure panels, then finish joints with compound and sanding for a smooth surface.

Plasterboard Worker

As a Plasterboard Worker in Gujrat, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions in residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit specific areas, securing it in place with screws or adhesive, and finishing the surface with joint compound and sanding tools.

To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with plasterboard, as well as a strong understanding of construction principles and techniques. You should be physically fit and able to work at heights, as some tasks may require the use of ladders or scaffolding. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will need to ensure that all installations are level and smooth before applying the finishing touches.

The ideal candidate will also possess excellent teamwork skills, as you will often collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters or painters on construction sites. You must also have good communication skills to understand project specifications and follow instructions from supervisors.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month, along with accommodation provided by the company. As this is an urgent job opening, candidates with a valid biometric passport will be given preference.
