Job summary

About Position:

Responsibilities:
  • Developing, monitoring and updating integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible

  • Preparing baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams

  • Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team

  • Monitoring schedule deviations and variances and assist in developing alternative methods for corrective action

  • Preparing and providing schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis

  • Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance

  • Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule

Competencies and Skills Required:
  • Previous experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in a construction or engineering environment

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools

  • Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques, including critical path method (CPM), resource leveling, and risk analysis

  • Familiarity with engineering principles and construction processes

Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in project planning/scheduling (construction/engineering preferred).
