Job summary

Velosi is seeking a skilled Piping Draftsman/Designer in Lahore, Pakistan, with 5 to 20 years of experience in piping design and drafting for industrial projects. You will produce detailed 2D/3D piping layouts, isometrics, and MTOs, using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related tools, ensuring standards alignment.

The role requires knowledge of piping codes (ASME, API) and the ability to coordinate across mechanical, civil, electrical, and process teams, maintaining QA/QC documentation and revisions.

Qualifications

• 05 to 20 years of piping drafting/designing experience.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, 3D).
• Familiar with piping codes and standards (ASME, API).

Responsibilities

• Prepare piping layout drawings, isometrics, and pipe support drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam.
• Update engineering drawings per RLMU.
• Generate material take-offs (MTOs) and assist procurement docs.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, electrical and process teams for alignment and clash-free design.
• Interpret piping specs, PMS, and vendor drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (ASME, API).
• Implement design changes and revisions per project requirements.
• Maintain documentation and revision control per QA/QC procedures.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Draftsman/Designer with 05 to 20 years of experience in the design and drafting of piping systems for industrial or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in 2D/3D CAD software, possess a good understanding of piping codes and standards, and be capable of independently producing piping layouts, isometrics, and a bill of materials.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed piping layout drawings, isometric drawings, and pipe support drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam software, etc.
• Update the Engineering drawings as per the RLMU.
