Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking a PHP Developer to manage backend services and data interchange between server and users. The role focuses on server-side logic, database maintenance, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of Web/PHP development experience, strong SQL/MySQL skills, and familiarity with Node.JS/Vue.JS, MVC patterns, and Git versioning. VOIP/IVR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in software engineering or CS from a reputed university
• 3-5 years of Web/PHP development
• Must have: PHP, ASP, Java, AJAX, MySQL, MSSQL web programming, module and database programming
• Familiar with SQL/MySQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Familiar with MVC design patterns
• Experience with IVR, Softphones or VOIP is highly preferred
• Understanding of fundamentals of scalable application design
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side logic for web applications

• Define and maintain the central database schema
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests
• Collaborate with front-end developers to apply MVC patterns
