Pakistan Single Window (PSW) on behalf of NAFSA invites applications for an Inspection Officer role based in Pakistan. The selected candidate will lead field inspections of pesticide manufacturing units, warehouses, and retailers to verify registration, labeling, storage, and safety compliance, and will prepare reports for enforcement actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of field inspection or regulatory experience.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures, documentation, and basic pesticide compliance.
• High integrity and ability to work in enforcement environments.

Responsabilités

• Inspect pesticide manufacturing units, warehouses, retail outlets, and registered pesticide businesses for compliance with registration and safety requirements.
• Collect pesticide samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring chain of custody and proper documentation.
• Verify compliance with registration conditions, labelling, storage, handling, and safety requirements.
• Detect and report non-compliance, adulteration, misbranding, or illegal pesticide activities as per notified procedures.
• Prepare inspection and enforcement support reports and coordinate follow-up actions with laboratories and regulatory units.
• Support audits, verification missions, and compliance drives as directed.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting officer in support of NAFSA’s mandate.
