Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience as a loader or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for counting and sorting goods.
• Familiarity with safety protocols for handling goods and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Must be available to work on weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect goods for damage before loading onto trucks or vehicles.
• Sort and organize items according to destination.
• Pack goods securely using appropriate materials (e.g. pallets, straps).
• Operate forklifts or other machinery as needed.
• Maintain inventory of loaded goods and report any discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols when handling goods and equipment.
• Communicate with truck drivers to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
