Part-Time Turner - Gujrat, India

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Turner to join our team in Gujrat on a part-time basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes and other turning equipment to produce high-quality metal parts. This position is ideal for students or individuals with limited experience who are looking for an opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various turning equipment including lathes, mills, drills, and grinders
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work procedures
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the turning process
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Turner is preferred but not required
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Basic understanding of machining techniques and processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have own visa or be eligible to work in India

Salary

This is a part-time position with a starting salary of 1400$ per month.
