Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role.
• Knowledge of different tile types, patterns and installation techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately.
• Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
• Good physical stamina, standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas using hand and power tools.
• Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, cleaning and leveling the surface.
• Install tiles on floors, walls and other surfaces using adhesive or grout.
• Repair or replace damaged tiles.
• Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles.
• Seal tile surfaces when necessary to prevent water damage.
• Follow safety procedures to avoid accidents or injuries.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
