Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Metal Worker.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

• Good physical dexterity with the ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, scribes or marking gauges.
• Cut, shape, and bend metal plates or structural shapes using hand tools or machines.
• Weld or solder metal parts together using various techniques such as gas welding, arc welding, or brazing.
• Grind, file, sand or smooth surfaces of metal objects to remove burrs or sharp edges.
• Assemble metal parts using bolts, rivets or other fasteners.
• Install fabricated components into structures or equipment according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
